Mari Words: guess the Mari word

A new Mari game: Mari Words («Марий мут», “Mari word”). Guess the hidden word in six tries. After each guess the tiles change colour: green means the letter is in the right place, yellow means it is in the word but elsewhere, and grey means it is not in the word.

What's inside

• Daily puzzle: one word for everyone, a new one every day at midnight Moscow time. Share your result as coloured squares without giving away the answer.
• Practice: as many words in a row as you like.
• Words from 3 to 8 letters: more than 2,600 answer words and about 60,000 accepted word forms from the 10-volume Dictionary of the Mari Language and the Mari–Russian Dictionary.
• A shared leaderboard for the web, Android and Yandex Games with “Today”, “Wins” and “Streaks” tabs. It is optional: just pick a nickname, no account needed, and remove yourself with one tap.
• A word card after each round with stress, translation and an example.
• A keyboard with Ӓ Ӧ Ӱ Ӹ Ҥ, an interactive first-launch tutorial, statistics, and light and dark themes. Works offline.
