Started building the METR TV app — beta for Android and Android TV
I started building the METR TV app for the Mari El TV and Radio company (ГАУК «Марий Эл Телерадио») — for phones and Android TV. One app for the METR TV channel, radio and Mari El news.
What's there already
- Live TV and the programme schedule with reminders
- Video and show archive from VK: 160+ playlists with covers, search, favourites
- Radio: Mari El Radio and METR FM, now playing, sleep timer
- News from Mari El and Yoshkar-Ola, a home-screen widget
- Light and dark themes, a data saver mode for mobile internet
- Android TV: remote control, side menu, live TV fullscreen on start
This is a beta: expect bugs; features and design will still change. The APK installs on phones and Android TV. The interface is in Russian. Found a bug? Message me on Telegram.
