What is it? — English by camera
Point the camera at an object: the app recognises it and shows the English word with its article, the IPA transcription and the Russian translation with stress. Works offline.
Features
- Word, IPA and translation: a cat /ˈkæt/ — ко́шка; the article a/an is shown where it is needed
- Hundreds of things: people, animals and birds, dishes, furniture, clothes, vehicles, fruit and vegetables, trees, sky, grass, water
- Up to 8 objects per photo, numbered right on the objects
- Live mode: English words appear in the viewfinder; you can also pick a photo from the gallery
- Definitions from Wiktionary behind the “i” button
- Save and share labelled pictures
- Offline: recognition runs on the phone, photos are never uploaded
